During the time I owned a pet supply store that employed 3 dog groomers I was able to observe groomers working with dogs which were relatively unruly for various reasons. Often the groomers would require my assistance to calm them. In doing so I would demonstrate different approaches to managing dogs that were misbehaving out of fear, aggression or just being overly excited.
This two hour presentation will address and explain many of the reasons dogs may misbehave at grooming shops and techniques that can be utilized to control them and make your job safer and easier.
