Dog obedience (educational) courses will benefit anyone interested in improving their knowledge of canines and the underlying psychological forces leading to undesirable behaviors. These courses are designed as much or more to educate the human as the dog.
Common Issues we deal with:
- Pulling on the leash
- Dog aggression
- Aggression towards humans
- Jumping up
- Nervous
- Barking
- Digging
- Chewing
- Running out doors or gates
- Anxiety
- Charging doors or windows
Like any education, the end results of courses provided by KKI will be largely contingent upon the effort and ability of the participant. Some dog breeds or dogs within any breed may tend to be more readily receptive to education than others. Almost all dogs respond well to behavior modification techniques when properly taught and applied. Although these courses are often referred to as “dog training”, in actuality most of the teaching is directed at the handler. Providing the client applies the techniques as taught by KKI in a firm, fair and constructive manner, major positive behavioral improvements in the dogs overall mental and physical makeup should be expected.
