About Konfident Kanines

KKI is a company dedicated to the education of dogs and people of all ages. KKI is absolutely committed to teaching what is believed to be the “Truth” about canines and their behavior. KKI will always put the well being of the dog first and foremost, even in the face of adversity. KKI strongly believes that the time has long past when someone must step forth and begin to bust many of the myths about dogs that circulate throughout North America, even if doing so requires KKI to be in conflict with some popular methods of dog training being advocated. This being said, KKI is well prepared and willing to demonstrate the effectiveness, and reliability of any method, or approach to a dogs education they may advocate.

Larry Neilson, KKI’s head trainer has dedicated the majority of his life to working with, and studying canine behaviors, including their methods of communication. Almost three decades of closely studying canines of all types and temperaments has provided him with a demonstrable understanding of canines as a species, enabling him to effectively analyze and positively modify the behaviors of almost all canines. Tiffany Candella, Larry’s assistant has been working alongside him for over two years and is very capable of teaching basic obedience classes. 

When not working with dogs, Larry's interests include writing, martial arts, family, grandchildren and photography. He is a great lover of nature and believes that when we have a need to seek out what is true and of importance, we need only to look to nature for answers. If at first answers are not evident...look closer.

Currently there are plans to publish a book under the KKI umbrella, as well as possibly one or more K9 education DVD’s.
