Konfident Kanines is now registering for January 2015 Group Foundation Classes!
At KKI we believe that the strength and reliability of any constitution or education must start with a solid foundation. At Konfident Kanines we pride ourselves in using a “balanced approach” to our training philosophy. We employ the four fundamentals of canine education as well as applying all three phases of training.
Our progressive Foundation Training course offers you a great deal more than what is commonly referred to as “dog training”. Although our personal and customized teachings are structured and purposeful, great care is taken to ensure that both you and your dog have fun and enjoy the learning process. Our comprehensive hands on lessons pay attention to detail and are taught in a considerate and respectful manner. We very subtly support you as you develope patience and confidence while you are building a reliable working alliance with your dog. Throughout our specialized course you will develop a working knowledge of how dogs learn, the fundamentals of teaching, as well as a greatly improved appreciation of why dogs respond to the world around them, or to what we call “behavior drivers”.
This is not a treat based program but rather a respect and trust based canine education partnership program customized to address your pet’s specific needs.
